An 81-year-old South Burnett resident died yesterday afternoon after a freak accident on a property at Wyalla, north of Nanango.
The man had been working alone near a parked cattle truck on a private property when the vehicle rolled on top of him, causing severe crushing injuries.
A police spokesman said the man managed to phone for assistance and ambulance and police crews attended the scene.
Police are now investigating the incident and are preparing a report for the Coroner.
