A truck on fire sparked an emergency on the Bunya Highway near Porters Gap on Monday morning.
Multiple fire units – both urban and rural – were called to the incident about 11:30am, 20km south of Kumbia.
They found the truck fully engulfed in flames.
The blaze had also triggered a grass fire nearby.
The driver of the truck escaped injury, but the incident blocked traffic on the highway for a short period.

A controlled burn along the side of the Bunya Highway on Saturday night south of Wondai had an unexpected consequence on Sunday morning when a large tree which had “chimneyed” fell across the highway.
Police, Rural Fire Service Queensland and Kingaroy SES crews responded.
The tree was cut up and removed from highway.
No injuries were reported and traffic flow was restored about 12:30pm.

Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were called on Monday morning to a bushfire burning near Jones Gully, between Cooyar and Crows Nest.
A QFES spokesman said the fire was burning in inaccessible land and posing no threat to properties.
An aircraft conducted aerial reconnaissance of the fireground throughout the day.
Ground crews conducted backburning to control the blaze.
UPDATE 12:30pm October 6: Fourteen crews are currently at a bushfire burning in the vicinity of Voll Road, Jones Gully, Pierces Creek Road and Emu Creek Road. The fire is burning in inaccessible land. Firefighters are conducting backburning operations and working with machinery to put in fire breaks in an effort to control the blaze.

Rural fire crews from the Stuart River Brigade were called to a grass fire at Crawford about 6:00pm on Saturday.
The roadside fire was quickly extinguished.
