South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch - Kingaroy
 The Salvation Army and several other community groups and volunteers will be hosting the annual South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch at the Senior Citizens Centre in Avoca Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am this morning (lunch will be served at around 12:00 noon). The lunch is open to anyone - young or old - including single parents and those who'd just appreciate some company today. To assist with catering, though, an RSVP is absolutely essential. Christmas Day Buffet Lunch At The Palace - Nanango
- The Palace Hotel and Kitchen in Drayton Street, Nanango will be running an all-you-can-eat Christmas Day Buffet Lunch from 10:00am to around 1:00pm today. The lunch will feature traditional meats and seafood, a selection of salads and sides, Christmas treats and desserts and an all-ages punch. There'll also be live entertainment from Amber Goldsmith and a jumping castle for children, all in air-conditioned comfort. Bookings are absolutrely essential, though, and you can make one by phoning Beau at the hotel on (07) 4163-1287.
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch At Dimities - Wondai
- Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai will be hosting an all-you-can-eat Christmas Day Buffet Lunch from noon today (doors open at 11:30am). The lunch will offer a great assortment of traditional meats, salads, Christmas treats and sumptuous desserts, plus tea, coffee and soft drinks (guests are welcome to BYO if they prefer something stronger).
