Kingaroy Friendship Markets

The third Saturday of the month Friendship Markets will be held at the River Road end of the Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 6:30am to around 12:00pm today. The markets are jointly run by the Kingaroy Rotary Club and Kingaroy Show Society and feature a great range of arts, crafts, fruit and garden stalls, plus unusual bric-a-brac. Nanango Parkrun

The Nanango parkrun group will be holding its weekly 5km timed walk/run along the Ros Gregor Trail at Tipperary Flat next to the D'Aguilar Highway south of Nanango at 7:00am this morning. Runners follow a course along the trail and the parkrun group is free to join. All you need to do is register (once) online at parkrun.com.au and bring the printed barcode to any parkrun event (search for "Ros Gregor Trail" to find the group - but if you can't find it, just register and bring along the barcode).

Wondai Parkrun

The Wondai parkrun group will be holding their weekly 5km timed run at Coronation Park in Wondai at 7:00am this morning. Runners follow a course along the South Burnett Rail Trail and the parkrun group is free to join. CPR And Defibrillator Awareness - Kingaroy

The Kingaroy Local Ambulance Committee will be outside the Bank Of Queensland branch at Kingaroy Shoppingworld from 9:00am to 2:00pm today to provide free "hands-on" defibrillator and CPR training to anyone who'd like to learn the basics of saving a life.
