Bunya Mountains Markets
The Bunya Mountains Markets, held on the last Sunday of every month, will be running at Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains today. The markets feature up to 30 stands selling quality, locally produced fresh produce, arts and crafts and they'll be operating from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Local cafés like Poppies On The Hill and The Bunya Mountains Café will be offering special Market Day menus and morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas. Walking trail maps will be available from both cafés, the Bunya Mountains General Store and market stalls if you'd like to take a stroll through the adjoining National Park. More details? Cedarvale Open Day - Bunya Mountains
- The historic Cedarvale Cottage, at Lot 1 Bunya Avenue, Dandabah, will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm today, coinciding with the monthly markets on the fourth Sunday of the month. The cottage is home to the Bunya Mountains Natural History Association and includes museum displays and lots of information about the history of the area. Admission is free but donations are always welcome!
