Jazz On The Lawn - Kumbia

Here's something different for a Sunday! The Kumbia Kindergarten will be staging their third annual "Jazz On The Lawn" at Rick and Alice Greenup's cattle property Cardowan Homestead from 11:00am to around 5:00pm today. Cardowan Homestead is located approximately 20km north-west of Kumbia at 1563 Ironpot Road and if you're unfamiliar with the area you'll be able to find it very easily by looking out for signs from Kumbia's CBD onwards. The Toowoomba-based Windy City Jazz Band will be performing at this fully licensed, fully-catered family event and there'll also be performances from the South Burnett's very own (and highly acclaimed) Andrew Riek. Wines from Clovely Estate, Kingsley Grove and Captain's Paddock will be available at the bar as well. Tickets to today's gathering are $45 for adults and $20.00 for young people aged 12 to 18 (under-12s are free) and since they include meals, pre-bookings are essential!
