A five-day electronic music festival at Easter – refused a permit by the Southern Downs Regional Council – will be going ahead in the South Burnett after the local council found organisers had “ticked all the boxes”.
A woman aged in her 40s was airlifted to Brisbane with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle at Inverlaw on Saturday night.
South Burnett Regional Council has advised that due to the ongoing deterioration of a bridge on Stonelands Road, it will be closed from Friday (March 1) until further notice.
