Harrison was shot twice after brandishing a large kitchen knife and running towards police officers near the main entrance to the hospital on August 9, 2024.
He had earlier appeared agitated in the Emergency Department.
Medical assistance was immediately provided and Harrison was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast Hospital in a critical but stable condition.

On each count, Harrison was ordered to serve a jail term concurrently, with a head sentence of 30 months.
Judge Glen Cash fixed a parole release date of November 14, 2026.
