The annual two-day gem show, held at the Wondai Sportsground at the weekend, was another “polished” performance by the South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club.
The Lions Pavilion was filled with stalls featuring everything from fossils to stone carvings, mineral samples and jewellery.
All “facets” of the rock and gem collecting hobby were covered, including demonstrations and equipment sales.
Raffle tickets were also being sold to raise funds for the club, which meets weekly in Kingaroy and Wondai.
The prizes were pieces of jewellery made from stones prepared and donated by club members.
The show was officially opened on Saturday morning by South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff.
