RES, the developers of the Tarong West Wind Farm, will be holding an informal drop-in information session for local residents on Monday night in Kumbia, followed by day event in Ironpot on Tuesday.
The 97-turbine project is planned to built in the Ironpot region and would generate 436.5 MW when completed.
Construction is expected to begin later this year.
A RES spokesperson said the two meetings were an opportunity for residents to meet the project team and discuss new project information.
The sessions will be held on:
- Monday, March 23 – 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Kumbia Memorial Hall, Bell Street.
- Tuesday, March 24 – 9:00am to 11:00am at the Ironpot Farmers Hall, Jarail Road.
