Kingaroy Division 1 men’s soccer team downed Dalby 2-1 at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy last Saturday night.
It was the Division 1 team’s first home game for the season and they took advantage of the home crowd support.
Lincoln Sauer scored the first goal from a long-range strike.
A successful penalty kick by Nathan Copas sealed the victory.
Unfortunately, the earlier scheduled Division 2 game against the Chinchilla Grizzlies was postponed.
This Saturday, both the Kingaroy Division 1 and Division 2 teams will be on the road.
Division 1 will take on the Goondiwindi Roos at 3:00pm at the West Wanderers FC’s field in Toowoomba.
Division 2 will play West Wanderers at 5:00pm at Highfields.
