Kingaroy’s Division 2 senior soccer team has started the 2026 season with a big win at home over the Pittsworth Vikings.
The game went ahead at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy ahead despite rain threatening at times.
When the full-time whistle blew, Kingaroy was ahead 9-0, with Harvey Sawtell having slotted home four goals.
Other goal scorers included Carl Gibson, Braxton Collin, Ethan Loveday and Jesse Weier.
This weekend, the Kingaroy Division 2 side will take on the Chinchilla Grizzlies at 5:00pm; followed by the Kingaroy Division 1 side facing Dalby at 7:00pm.
This is the first double-header at Tom Alford Oval for the Kingaroy teams this season, as well as the first home game for the Division 1 side.
The canteen will be open with hot food and cold drinks and spectators have been invited to come along and support the local teams!

NB. Last weekend’s Kingaroy Division 1 game, against TNUniSQ in Toowoomba, was postponed.
