Kingaroy clay target junior Jackson Stallwood took out the B Grade High Gun award at last weekend’s 20th Anniversary Surat Clay Target Club 2-Day Shoot.
A team of Kingaroy Clay Target Club shooters travelled to Surat for the event, which attracted 82 competitors.
Stallwood’s High Gun (overall points for the weekend) score was 291/310.
He came first in the B Grade 50 Target State Continental Championship (49/50), second in the 25 Target (73/75), second in the B Grade 50 Target Double Barrel State Championship (62/64), second in the 25 Target (72/75) and won the 30 Target Handicap (43/43).
In July, Jackson will be competing at Dalby in the Best Of The West handicap event.
