Police are investigating a string of break-ins and thefts which have occurred in Wondai and Murgon, including an incident on Thursday morning where a stolen car crashed into a house.

A police spokesperson said that between 12:30am and 1:10am on Thursday, thieves broke into a house in Haly Street, Wondai, by cutting through a flyscreen.
About 1:15am on Tuesday, would-be thieves allegedly tried to break in to an Edward Street, Wondai, address by climbing on an air-conditioner unit to reach the kitchen window.
The offenders attempted to open the window but were unable to gain entry, and left in an unknown vehicle.
About 25 minutes later, thieves tried to break into a house in Grant Crescent through a locked front security screen door.
They were unable to gain entry.
