Expressions of Interest for the Federal Government’s 2025-26 Volunteer Grants program are now open.
Grants of between $1000 and $5000 are available in each Federal Electorate to eligible community organisations to support the efforts of their volunteers.
Grants can be used to buy communication or insurance items and/or items for the main purpose of supporting volunteers and volunteer-run activities.
More information is available online but Expressions Of Interest must first be submitted to the relevant Federal MP:

Expression of Interest forms can be downloaded online (498kb PDF). The completed forms should be emailed to david.littleproud.mp@aph.gov.au before 5:00pm, Friday, March 20, 2026.
- FLYNN – Colin Boyce
Expressions of Interest will be accepted until 5:00pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026. They can be submitted online
- WIDE BAY – Llew O’Brien
Expressions of Interest close on March 20, 2026. They can be submitted online
The EOIs will be assessed and successful submissions will be invited to lodge an application.
