The Sportsbet Nanango Race Club will be holding its Valentine’s Day Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.

The meeting features five races and all other features – such as the bar, barbecue and race club canteen – will be operating as usual.

Undercover seating will be available as well as lawn seating.

The expanded Fashions Of The Field competition has even categories – Classic Lady, Contemporary Lady, Valentine’s-themed Best-Dressed Couple, Lovely Local Lady (SBRC residents only), Juniors, Gentlemen and Millinery!

again has an “open” theme, so it’s time for fashionistas to get creative.

Free buses will be running to the races from Murgon, Wondai, Tingoora, Wooroolin, Memerambi, Kingaroy and Nanango (book online).

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 18s are free). Tables can be booked for $40.

There’ll be free face-painting for children, raffles and musical entertainment from local singer Natalie Fenton after the last race until late.

Entry tickets can be booked online Everyone is welcome! NB. There’s no ATM on the course.
