Services Australia’s mobile service centre truck “Desert Rose” will be visiting several South Burnett towns over the next few weeks.

The mobile service centre offers easy access to Medicare and Centrelink services and can provide information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Department of Veterans’ Affairs services.

Desert Rose will visit:

  • Kilkivan – Tuesday, February 24, in front of Kilkivan Hall in Bligh Street (9:30am to 4:00pm)
  • Proston – Wednesday, February 25, opposite the library in Blake Street (9:30am to 4:00pm)
  • Cherbourg – Thursday, February 26, near the Town Hall in Barambah Avenue (9:00am to 4:00pm)
  • Murgon – Friday, February 27, near the Visitor Information Centre in Lamb Street (9:00am to 4:00pm)
  • Wondai – Monday, March 2, in front of the Council Chambers in Mackenzie Street (9:00am to 4:00pm)
  • Nanango – Tuesday, March 3, adjacent to the courthouse in Henry Street (9:00am to 4:00pm)
  • Kumbia – Wednesday, March 4, opposite the Police Station in Bell Street (9:30am to 4:00pm)
  • Goomeri – Thursday, March 5, near the swimming pool in Moore Street (9:00am to 3:00pm)
