Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington is calling on young people from across the electorate to nominate for the 31st Queensland Youth Parliament.
Each year, 93 young Queenslanders are selected to represent every electorate and take part in the Queensland Youth Parliament.
“Youth Parliament gives young people an incredible insight into how government works, while building confidence, leadership skills and a deeper understanding of how decisions are made,” Mrs Frecklington said.
“Opportunities like this help young people learn how to influence change, contribute to their communities and develop the skills that future leaders need.”
“This is a fantastic chance for a young person from our region to represent our community and experience Parliament firsthand.” Deb said
Queenslanders aged 16 to 25 are invited to apply before February 22.
