A fourth man has been charged following the discovery of a man’s body near Maidenwell in September last year.
Missing Brisbane man Andrew Burow, 56, was found near Brooklands-Pimpimbudgee Road after an extensive police operation across several days.
On Friday, Brisbane detectives charged a 44-year-old Lake Macdonald man with torture, deprivation of liberty and extortion.
Police have charged three men in relation to Mr Burow’s alleged torture and murder.
The Lake Macdonald man is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 5.
A police spokesperson thanked the media and public for their assistance throughout the investigation.
If anyone has relevant information they have not yet reported to police, investigators have urged them to make contact.
