The South Burnett Rugby League has organised a three-week pre-season competition for Under 15s boys.
Games will be played on March 6, March 13 and March 2o.
Teams confirmed so far are Murgon, Nanango, Kingaroy and a combined Cherbourg / Wondai team.
Interested players should contact their local clubs for more information.
SBRL president Scott Prendergast said the details of other junior competitions for 2026 were yet to be confirmed but unfortunately there would be no South Burnett Eagles Under 15s or Under 19s teams entered in this year’s Toowoomba Junior Rugby League competition.
However, there are likely to be six A Grade teams competing in the South Burnett competition this year with both the Nanango Stags and Blackbutt Yarraman Timbertowners expected to field teams.
