Local emergency services have been kept busy over the festive break:

A man aged in his 50s was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries after a single-vehicle rollover at Ellesmere on Christmas Eve.
Emergency services were called to Kumbia Road about 7:00pm.

On Christmas Day, paramedics were called to a single-vehicle collision on Simpsons Road at Wondai just before 12:30am.
The vehicle had left the road and hit a tree.
A man with minor injuries was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
Two other people, a man aged in his 30s with minor injuries; and a woman in her 40s with minor chest and arm injuries, declined transport to hospital.

On Saturday (December 27), a man aged in his 20s was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with minor leg injuries after his vehicle crashed off a bridge into water near Wondai.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the Bunya Highway about 8:15pm.

On Sunday (December 28), three fire crews were called just before 3:00am after smoke was seen coming from the verandah of a vacant house in Jerome Street, Cherbourg.
Fire crews extinguished a small fire in a front room of the house and then ventilated the building.
Police were notified of the incident.

Also on Sunday, emergency services were called about 5:40pm after reports of a fire in a caravan at the Bjelke-Petersen Dam camping grounds at Moffatdale.
The occupants of the van had extinguished the fire before fire crews arrived.

Two fire crews were called at 2:20am after reports a car was on fire on the Wide Bay Highway, near the Kinbombi Road turn-off at Kinbombi,
The vehicle was well-involved in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.
Police are investigating the incident.

Later on Monday, a primary school-aged boy was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with facial and abdominal injuries after a motorcycle crash on a private property near Hart Street, Blackbutt, reported at 11:00am.
