The Kingaroy District Ministry Association’s traditional Christmas Carols will be held on Sunday, December 7, at Kingaroy Town Hall with a great line-up of musical talent already booked in.

Food and drinks will be available to buy from 5:00pm with the carols getting under way at 6:00pm.

“Grace Notes” has reformed for the evening, ie. Julee-anne Bell on lead vocals; Brett Chaseling on vocals and guitar; Gayle Pryce-Davies on keyboard and vocals; Carolyn Dingle on violin; and Matt Phillips on bass guitar.

Matt will also lead an energetic, interactive children’s segment guaranteed to bring colour, laughter and joy to the night.

St John’s Lutheran School will be hosting Carols by Candlelight on Thursday, December 4, from 6:30pm at the school hall in Ivy Street, Kingaroy.

Bring along your battery-operated candle and your best singing voice for a festive night of family entertainment!

The Combined Churches will be hosting Christmas Carols from 6:00pm on December 7 in the Rotunda in QEII Park in Lamb Street, Murgon.

Bring along a chair and join in the night of carols!

The Wondai CWA and Community Choir will join with the Wondai Town & District Band to perform carols in Coronation Park, Wondai, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on December 10.

There’ll be a free sausage sizzle put on by Wondai Lions plus ice creams and hot chips for sale. Santa is rumoured to be dropping in and there’s free lollies for the kids!

The Bunya Christmas Choir will be presenting carols and a reading of the Christmas story from 5:00pm on Sunday, December 14, at the re-opened Dandabah Picnic Grounds in Bunya Avenue on the Bunya Mountains.

There’ll also be face-painting for the children at 4:30pm.

Nanango Community Christmas Carols will be held from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, December 18, in the grounds of Ringsfield House, 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango.

There’ll also be children’s entertainment and a ham wheel.
