Murgon Crusaders came out on top in a clash with an under-strength Wooroolin Warriors, played last Saturday at Murgon Showgrounds.
Warriors won the toss in the Gympie A Grade competition game, sending Murgon in to bat.
Opener Daniel Thompson top-scored with 60 runs off 68 balls, including 7 fours and 2 sixes.
Riley Sippel (43) and Byron Kratzmann (35) also added handy runs to the Crusaders’ total.
Dean Olzard (3/10 off three overs, including one maiden) had impressive bowling figures for Wooroolin.
At the end of their 40 overs, Murgon were 7/224.
In reply, Wooroolin ended 7/154 in the 31st over.
Opener Jackson Kerkow started off strongly, hitting 77 runs – including 11 fours and 2 sixes – before being trapped LBW by Ashley Sippel.
Kieran Askin hit 30 runs off 37 balls but no one else made double figures.
The Sippel squad dominated the Murgon bowling: Ashley (2/16 off 7.4), Jake (2/28 off eight) and Riley (2/51 off eight).

Gympie One-Day A Grade Competition
Rain disrupted the Gympie A Grade One-Day clash between Wooroolin Warriors and Gympie Royals at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on November 15.
Warriors (3/333) were eventually declared victors over Royals (5/94), using the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method.
Opener Alexander Peters top-scored for Warriors, finishing 112 not out.
Fellow opener Lachlan Cullen (85), Lochlan Burrows (73) and Matthew Dugdell (41) added to the total.
Kieran Askin was the most effective of the Warriors’ bowlers, taking 3/24 off 6.4 overs before the game was called off.
Rain also affected the game between Murgon Crusaders and Harlequins at Murgon Showgrounds which was abandoned.
Harlequins were 6/187 and Crusaders were 1/66 when play was called off.

SBCA Senior Competition
Kingaroy Services overcame Wondai Wolves for the loss of just wicket at Wondai Cricket Ground on November 8.
Kingaroy won the toss and sent Wondai in.
The home team were all out in the 30th over for 110 runs, with Nathan Nixon top-scoring with 41 runs.
Benjamin Gregg (2/6 off two overs) and Lachlan Watson (3/29 off seven overs) did the damage for Kingaroy.
In reply, Kingaroy took just 17.4 overs (and it could have been a few balls less!) to overtake the target for the loss of just one wicket (1/111).
Batters were Fletcher Black (44 not out), Lachlan Watson (33) and Justin Labinsky (6 not out).
