Tansey resident and former Gwydir Shire councillor Angela Doering has been appointed Development Co-ordinator of the Red Earth Community Foundation.

Angela says she has a passion for community development.

“It’s an honour to join Red Earth Community Foundation at such a pivotal time,” she said.

“Investing in people – Red Earth’s mission – is also core to how I work, and I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead the growth of our community foundation.

She said the Red Earth Community Leadership Program was more than a leadership course.

“It’s a journey of growth, connection, and impact,” Angela said.

“I have benefitted from leadership programs, and encourage anyone with a passion for community to apply or nominate someone who would thrive in this environment.”
