The South Burnett Race Club will be holding its annual Caulfield Cup race meeting – always one of its biggest meetings of the year – at the Wondai Racecourse on Saturday (October 18).

The meeting also coincides, of course, with the richest race meeting on the Australian racing calendar, The Everest, at Randwick.

Both races – and all the other interstate races – will be screened at the Wondai course.

Wondai is hosting a five-race meeting with the first race leaving the barriers at 1:35pm.

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.

This meeting’s theme is “Bright And Bold” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition for great prizes.

The fashion competition will be open to women and men and boys and girls.

Gates will open at the track about 11:30am and the feature race of the day – the Roy and Glenis Radunz Wondai Cup – will leave the barriers at 4:05pm.

Admission to the racecourse is $10, and guests should bring cash because there is no EFTPOS available on site.
