A Taabinga man who has been held in custody since an alleged home invasion in Gympie last year has had his bail application refused.
Douglas John Williams, 43, faces 19 charges including torture, robbery and assault occasioning bodily harm.
Several of these charges relate to the alleged incident on September 30 last year.
Williams applied for bail in Gympie Magistrates Court on Monday.
Magistrate Bevan Hughes refused bail and remanded Williams in custody to reappear on November 24.
A second man, Gabe Ian Tickner, from the Gympie region, also faces charges related to the alleged September incident.
