Golden West Apprenticeships, in partnership with the South Burnett Regional Council, has received funding to deliver targeted training in conservation and ecosystem management.
The joint project will provide a unique learning opportunity for aspiring conservationists in the South Burnett region.
There will be two intakes of trainees, with each course lasting 18 weeks and employing 12 trainees.
They will work towards earning a Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
The project began last month and will conclude on June 30 next year.
The funding has been delivered through the State Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work program.
