The Tingoora Vikings cricket club has announced it will be playing in the Dalby Cricket Association competition during the 2025-26 season.
This follows a disappointing 2024-25 season where Vikings’ senior team dominated on the oval but missed out on making the finals of the South Burnett competition.
The club’s three teams had their ladder points readjusted after alleged irregularities earlier in the season.
However, the club is making a positive commitment to the future of the game locally, starting construction of a shed beside the Tingoora Sportsground.
The Vikings will be taking on Criterions in Round 1 of the Dalby competition this Saturday at Dalby Cricket Ground.
NB. Unfortunately, some of the scores published by southburnett.com.au for Tingoora games last season may be inaccurate.
