The second annual Maidenwell Music Mix at the weekend attracted “a mix” of both local residents and visitors alike to the entertainment area at the rear of the Maidenwell Hotel.

The fun kicked off on Friday night with local musicians Glenn Jones, Lloyd Back, Natalie Fenton and Mr Q taking to the stage.

It was a busy evening with revellers enjoying a night out under the stars – and the giant fig tree – as the music rolled on.

A few very light showers on Saturday didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd who spent the day enjoying performances by Amber Goldsmith, Rich Phillips, Larry Cann, Alice Benfer and RYZA.

The mini-music festival wound up on Sunday at lunchtime after a mix of more music and bush poetry.

A large team of volunteers, headed up by Maidenwell Hotel owner Gavin Jones, were making sure everyone was having a great time.
