South Burnett residents had trouble with trees at the weekend, with three traffic crashes involving roadside vegetation.

Just after midnight on Saturday morning, a man in his 20s lost control of his vehicle, hitting a tree near the intersection of Grant Avenue and Tarong Drive in Kingaroy.

A QAS spokesperson said the man freed himself from the vehicle.

He was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital for observation.

At 1:45pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to Fisher Street at Cherbourg after reports a motorcycle had hit a tree.

QAS paramedics attended the scene but no patient could be found.

And at 11:30am on Sunday, emergency services were called after a vehicle left the Bunya Highway near Wooroolin and hit a tree.

The QAS spokesperson said two people were assessed at the scene by paramedics but did not require transport to hospital.
