Saint Mary’s Catholic College’s Year 12 Class of 2025 turned heads at their formal night on Friday

September 22, 2025

It was the turn of Saint Mary’s Catholic College’s students on Friday night to enjoy the Year 12 formal limelight.

The school’s annual valedictory dinner was held in Kingaroy Town Hall.

The students and their partners paraded along an elegant red carpet which led up to the Town Hall.

They were accompanied by a running commentary – also livestreamed on Facebook – by former P&F president Damien Martoo and St Mary’s school officer Matt Emery.

The students couldn’t escape being interviewed, or waving at the camera, as they stepped out of their rides.

The vehicles that delivered them ranged from a bright orange Lotus Evora to a classic Triumph Herald and a John Deere tractor (and unusually, not one Ford!).

Matt Emery, from Saint Mary’s Catholic College, and Damien Martoo were the commentators for the arrival
Friends and family members lined the red carpet to welcome the students and their partners
