Yes quite strong at Nanango a lot of noise and roof shook. Lasted about 30 to 40 seconds. No damage and still have power.
Surreal shaking. In my Murgon home an incredibly loud noise, like a large truck coming down the driveway, startled me. Then the house shook and I really thought it was going to collapse. Fortunately there was no damage and it was over quickly, the only thing left shaking was me!
Was at work in Kingaroy when it happened. Was a bit scary the feeling of it all happening. Water in the fish tank rocked for a while
It sounded like a “jet crashing into the house” … the noise was defining .. The mild shaking transcended into violent waves. I no longer felt safe in the house, so I rushed outside into a large clear area … no powerlines, no trees, no building to fall. I sat comforting my terrified dog. There was another massively loud thunderous boom about 15 minutes after the waves stopped.
