Police have charged a man following investigations into alleged weapon and drug offences in the South Burnett.
Kingaroy detectives searched a property on Kingaroy-Burrandowan Road at Taabinga about noon on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said detectives located several drug-related items and a firearm and took a 39-year-old man into custody.
The man has since been charged with several offences including possessing shortened firearms, unlawful possession of weapons and possessing dangerous drugs.
He was due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
UPDATE: Charles Anthony Hoger was remanded in custody to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 19.
