MPs Visit $11.5m Highway Project

Transport and Main Roads Minister Brent Mickelberg visited the South Burnett last week to check on the progress of the $11.5 million upgrades to the D’Aguilar Highway west of Nanango.

Minister Mickelberg inspected the construction site alongside Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington.

The project is straightening out a section of the highway and improving a creek crossing known to flood.

The roadworks, which stretch up to Parsons Road, will be continuing until mid-2026.

Mrs Frecklington thanked drivers for their patience.
