The Yidding Art Studio at Cherbourg will receive a $25,000 boost thanks to the State Government’s “Backing Indigenous Arts” program.
The Cherbourg studio, part of The Ration Shed complex, is one of nine art centres across Queensland to receive assistance from the program.
The funding will support small-scale infrastructure and equipment upgrades at the nine studios, including building repairs, new lighting and the purchase of pottery kilns to improve workspaces for artists and arts workers.
