South Burnett Saints’ Ladies Day at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday was a big success, both on and off the field!

After the game, a “pink party” beside the clubhouse raised funds for breast cancer research with food, fun activities and a fashions competition judged by South Burnett mayor Kathy Duff.

Unfortunately, the South Burnett men had less success against Coolaroo, going down 28.16-184 to 1.5-11.

In Under 13.5s, Saints tested Coolaroo, scoring five goals, but in the end were defeated 10.10-70 to 5.6-36.

South Burnett goals were kicked by Jack Nesbitt (2), Alvie Vels, Deegan Johannessen and Evan Freeman.

This weekend, all three Saints’ teams will be back in action at Lyle Vidler Oval, taking on teams from the South Toowoomba Bombers: Under 13.5s at 11:30am; women at 1:00pm and men at 2:45pm.
