Questacon – the National Science and Technology Centre based in Canberra – is bringing its special pop-up science centre back to the South Burnett at the end of the month.

The Questacon Science Circus will be at Kingaroy Town Hall on Saturday, May 31, for parents and children to explore science and have fun with a range of hands-on exhibits.

There’ll more than 30 interactive exhibits to experiment with as well as live shows to enjoy throughout the day.

Visitors will be able to spin themselves dizzy, test their reflexes and explore their fingertips under a microscope.

The Science Circus is staffed by postgraduate students from the Australian National University.

They spend months on the road, talking to people about science and technology on visits to communities all over Australia.

The Science Circus has  been visiting towns and communities across Australia since it began in 1985, and has made several previous visits to Kingaroy.

The Science Circus will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Kingaroy Town Hall on Saturday, May 31. Tickets are free but sessions should be booked online
