Kingaroy Art Gallery’s April exhibition is exploring nature, with the help of three very talented artists from Bundaberg.

Carmel Birchley, Maggie Spenceley and Colleen Helmore are urging visitors to become aware of the beauty that surrounds us in the natural environment, to slow down and savour the sensations.

Their “Nature’s Therapy” exhibitions include watercolours, acrylics, oils and pastels as well as pencil sketches and scraperboard engravings.

The official opening was held on Saturday evening and was followed on Sunday by a drawing workshop and demonstrations by the three artists.

The exhibition will remain on display until April 26.

Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery, opposite the peanut silos in Haly Street, is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday; and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.

Entry to the gallery is free.
