The RU OK Conversation Convoy rolled into Cherbourg at the weekend with the aim of raising awareness about the important question we should all be asking each other every day, “Are You Okay?”.
The Cherbourg visit provided an opportunity for community members to gather together, talk, remember loved ones and heal.
There were a range of activities at the Cherbourg Sports Complex,
Candles were lit, T-shirts decorated and a memorial banner was made.
Community members then walked to Cherbourg Cemetery to lay flowers and visit the graves of loved ones.
The visit was assisted by the Cherbourg SPAN group, CRAICCHS, Cherbourg Us Mob Radio 94.1FM and the STaY team.
On Sunday morning, the Convoy also paid a brief visit to Murgon Showgrounds
