Bookings have opened online for FREE tickets to a special Youth Week festival being organised next month by South Burnett CTC.
The Foam Festival will run from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, April 11, at the Kingaroy Showgrounds with DJs, free food, non-alcoholic drinks and heaps of activities.
Organisers have promised an “unforgettable evening” for visitors aged from 12 to 21 with non-stop beats all night.
“This festival is all about providing our youth with a safe, fun space to express themselves and celebrate their creativity,” CTC Youth Services team leader Prue Black said.
“We’re empowering young people and engaging community leaders so that together, we create a future where every voice is heard.”
CTC Youth & Family Services manager Kirsten Firman said it would be a vibrant celebration.
“(There’ll be) amazing entertainment like live DJ sets but also interactive stalls and creative activities,” Kirsten said.
“Our commitment is to ensure every young person feels supported, safe, and inspired.”
Free transport will be available from Blackbutt, Murgon and Proston to ensure that everyone from across the South Burnett can enjoy the night.
