Rain played havoc with the last rounds of South Burnett Cricket’s senior T20 competition scheduled for last Saturday.

Despite a late change of venues, the Round 5 games and Grand Final were washed out.

The weather also shortened the Gympie A Grade competition game between Wooroolin Warriors and Gympie Valleys to 15 overs a side.

Warriors won the toss at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy and elected to bowl.

At the end of their 15 overs, Valleys were 9/88.

Kieran Askin took 3/6 off three overs while Matthew Badesso finished with 2/8 off two overs.

Warriors (4/93) took 13 overs to overcome the target.

Michael Davies (26) and Matthew Springate (24 not out) were the top-scorers.

Murgon Crusaders’ scheduled game against Gympie Colts in Gympie was abandoned.

The semi-finals of the Gympie One-Day competition will be played next weekend, with Warriors set to face Gympie Harlequins.

Murgon Crusaders are through to the Grand Final on January 25.
