South Burnett Regional Council has warned that as a result of the significant rainfall the region has received over the past week, a number of roads are either closed due to flooding or significant damage.
A spokesperson said Council was currently undertaking an inspection of the local road network to identify damage that requires priority repairs.
Once these significant damages have been identified, repairs will be prioritised and works programs developed so temporary repairs for safety can be done.
Council has urged road users to drive to the current road conditions and report any road damage or hazards to Council on (07) 4189-9100.
