Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Christmas meeting on Saturday at the Lee Park Racecourse.

Sadly, this will probably be the last race meeting held at Nanango until at least next August following Racing Queensland’s decision to strip the club of its planned February, April and May meetings.

The fashion theme is “Summer Show Stopper” and guests are encouraged to dress up in their best festive outfits to be in the running for some great prizes.

And there’ll be Christmas presents for the kids!

There’s  five races on the card, and all the popular features – the bookies’ ring, barbecue bar and race club canteen – will be operating as usual,  so remember to bring cash.

Buses will be leaving Glendon Street in Kingaroy at noon and the Scott Car Park at 12:30pm.

Gates will open at 10:00am and Race 1 will leave the barriers at 1:30pm

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free).
