Tarong Power Station general manager Mick Joy said it was important for Stanwell to give back to the surrounding community.
“Our ability to generate electricity for Queensland businesses and industry is largely dependent on the support of the communities in which we operate, which is why it’s so important we invest in and support projects that help our communities to thrive,” Mr Joy said.
“The funding improves services, infrastructure, and opportunities for everyone in our community.”
