A woman and her young child were lucky to escape serious injury in a single-vehicle crash at Cinnibar on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident, on the Wide Bay Highway, just before 1:00pm.
The woman and child escaped with cuts and bruises.
Less than two hours later, emergency services attended another single-vehicle crash in the Kilkivan area, this time on Kilkivan-Tansey Road.
The driver was transported to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.
