An elderly Nanango man and his adult daughter were killed in an horrific single-vehicle crash at Brooklands on Tuesday morning.
They were in a Subaru Forester which ran off the road, hit a tree and burst into flames.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Nanango-Brooklands Road about 11:05am.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said the vehicle was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene, and the fire had spread to nearby grass.
A police spokesperson said the driver, a 55-year-old Logan Central woman, and her passenger, an 82-year-old Nanango man, died at the scene.
Six fire crews – a mix of urban and rural brigades – attended the incident.
The fire was extinguished by 11:25am.
Nanango-Brooklands Road was closed to traffic in both directions while emergency services were present, with diversions put in place via Darley Crossing Road and Darley Estate Road.
Police investigations into the crash are ongoing.

Two people were taken to hospital after a collision on the Wide Bay Highway at Cinnibar about 7:30am on Tuesday.
A woman aged in her 50s was taken to Murgon Hospital in a stable condition with neck pain.
A man in his 30s was taken by ambulance to Gympie Hospital, also in a stable condition.
