At 5:15pm on Monday, seven fire crews were battling a house “well-involved in flames” near the intersection of Watt and Stephens streets in Murgon.
Reports of the fire were called to emergency services at 4:55pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said firefighters were working to protect other structures.
There were no reports of anyone missing.
