Wooroolin and Memerambi residents and business owners have been invited to share their thoughts about local mobile phone coverage at a consultation session later this month.
Consultants engaged by the Mobile Black Spot Program have invited people to drop in to the Wooroolin Café, at 29 Alexander Street, Wooroolin, between 9:00am and noon on Wednesday, October 30.
They are keen to gather feedback on the use of mobile services in the area; their coverage, reliability and quality; and the effect the installation of a mobile black spot base station has had.
The Mobile Black Spot Program is a Federal Government initiative, supported by co-contributions from mobile phone operators such as Telstra and Vodafone, which aims to improve mobile phone coverage.
Residents who cannot make it to the consultation session in person have been invited to fill in an online survey
