A man, believed to be in his 20s, suffered critical injuries when a vehicle ran off the Bunya Highway and hit a tree south of Kumbia on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident near Sinclairs Road just before 11:30am.

A QAS spokesperson said the man suffered life-threatening head and leg injuries.

Toowoomba-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter landed on the highway near the incident.

It airlifted the injured man to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

A teenage boy suffered minor injuries after a multi-vehicle collision at Okeden on Wednesday evening.

Emergency services were called just before 6:30pm after reports three vehicles had collided on Okeden-Byanda Road.

QAS paramedics assessed two people at the scene.

A woman in her 50s was uninjured, while a male in his late teens was reported to have suffered grazes.

He was transported by ambulance to Murgon Hospital in a stable condition.
