FLASHBACK: 2023 Pinup Pageant winner Bambi Blaize, from Brisbane, with her friend, Brisbane model Miss Ruby Alabaster

August 15, 2024

Wondering what’s happening (and when) over this sizzling weekend of bacon-themed fun in Kingaroy?

The 2024 Kingaroy BaconFest kicks off on Friday night with the annual Wine and Swine soirée in the Kingaroy Town Hall Forecourt … but sorry, tickets at $100 a pop have all been sold!

But don’t worry, there’s still plenty to see and do on Saturday and Sunday (see the full program, below).

And there will be great opportunities to meet the special guest chefs: Alastair McLeod, Dan and Steph Mulheron, Justine Schofield, Maggie Dmochowski and Matt Golinski.

The popular BaconFest Pinup Pageant will be happening at noon on Saturday.

There’ll be plenty of live music and dancing displays as well as special activities for younger children in The Bacon Barn.

Events will be taking place across Saturday and Sunday both inside and outside the Kingaroy Town Hall and on The Bacon Barn stage.

Australian Pork Ltd is sponsoring the annual bacon-eating contest, with heats on Saturday and the grand final on Sunday morning.

The winner will receive a year’s worth of bacon!

Tickets for special activities – and to enter the event area – can be booked online

A one-day pass is $15 (or $10 concession) with Under 5s free.

A two-day pass is $25 (or $15 concession) with Under 5s free.

Family passes are also available.
